| Clyde was born in Wilkes County, NC on Jan 7, 1932. he worked as a
farmer and fruit grower until he entered the army in November of
1952. He spent 19 of his 24 months in Korea. He married Joan
Clanton on July 22, 1957. In 1960, he began his career with
Broyhill Furniture. |
