"Gib" was born in Wilkes County, NC on Sept. 14, 1890, the
twin brother of Dessie. He married Daisey Maybell there on Nov.
14, 1913. Two years later, they moved to Hopewell, Virginia to
join his brother Ruel. In 1968, he was living in Hopewell with his
sister Annie Lou. He died several years later. Social Security
death benefits show that the died in February 1968. |
