| George was born Dec. 12, 1916, in
Sioux City, Iowa. He was abandoned by his parents and raised by
his maternal grandmother. He graduated from East High School in
Kansas City. He married (1) Iola Shively Keen from Grand Island,
Nebraska in 1939 and she is the mother of his two children, and (2)
Margaret Aileen Culver Nappe in 1962. In 1976, he was a cost accountant and
contract bidder in the meat industry. Interestingly, he was a
vegetarian. |
