| "Betty" was
born March 3, 1929, in Lenoir, N.C. She married Joseph Henry
Mast Dickson Jr., on Sept. 30, 1950. Mast is father of all her
children. They divorced in 1965. She married Willard
"Will" Austin Gortner on Oct. 12, 1968.
He was then a stock broker. Betty is the lady who commissioned the
research on the Broyhill Family that resulted in the discover of James I
and the original spelling of the name. |
